Destination Wedding

Villa Cetinale, Tuscany, Italy

Mid-summer, 2023

A multi-day celebration set amongst rolling hills and centuries-old olive groves. We captured the essence of la dolce vita through sun-drenched afternoon portraits and a vibrant, al fresco dinner party that stretched late into the night.

Giulia and Leo wanted to treat their guests to a true Italian getaway. They chose a historic 17th-century villa nestled in the Tuscan countryside, prioritizing amazing food, excellent wine, and uninterrupted time with their favorite people over traditional wedding formalities.

The wedding day was remarkably relaxed. I documented the subtle moments—the bride's mother adjusting her veil, the groom sharing a joke with his brothers under the cypress trees. The ceremony took place in the villa’s lush, manicured gardens, characterized by joyful tears and golden, late-afternoon light that felt incredibly cinematic.

The reception was a feast for the senses. A single, endlessly long table was set under the stars, adorned with wild florals and taper candles. As the evening progressed, the formal dinner seamlessly transitioned into a high-energy dance party by the pool, celebrating late into the warm Italian night.
