The highland elopement
Isla & Finn

Destination Elopement
Isle of Skye, Scottish Highlands, UK
Early spring, 2024
Just the two of them, the howling wind, and the rugged cliffs of the Isle of Skye. This intimate vow exchange was a raw, unscripted celebration stripped down to its absolute most beautiful essentials.
Isla and Finn decided early on that a large, traditional wedding wasn't for them. They craved adventure, breathtaking landscapes, and an experience completely focused on their commitment to one another. The Isle of Skye provided the ultimate dramatic backdrop for their vows.
The morning was misty and quiet, spent getting ready together in a remote stone cottage. They hiked in their wedding attire to the edge of the Quiraing, exchanging private vows as the wind caught Isla’s dress. There were no family formals or schedules to adhere to, allowing me to simply document the striking contrast of their quiet love against the wild, untamed environment.
After the ceremony, they sought refuge in a local historic pub, warming up by a roaring peat fire with glasses of single malt whiskey. It was an incredibly grounding day, proving that sometimes the most meaningful celebrations require nothing more than the two people involved.

Special thanks to everyone who was involved and helped make this celibration a successful and lasting memory.
