Midnight at the museum
Audrey & Julian

City Wedding
The Field Museum, Chicago, USA
Winter, 2025
Classic black-tie elegance set against the marble halls of a historic city gallery. We leaned into a heavy editorial approach, using direct flash and motion blur to capture the high-energy, cinematic glamour of their evening.
Audrey and Julian share a love for history, art, and grand, unforgettable parties. They bypassed traditional venues for a soaring, iconic museum hall, requesting a strict black-tie dress code from their guests to match the majestic scale of the marble architecture.
The aesthetic of the day was undeniably glamorous. We focused on capturing fashion-forward, editorial portraits utilizing the museum's grand staircases and dramatic directional lighting. Rather than interrupting their flow, I observed from a distance, documenting the sophisticated cocktail hour and the awe on the guests' faces as they explored the exhibits.
The reception was a visual masterpiece. Long tables were draped in black velvet and illuminated by hundreds of floating candles. Once the live band started, I switched to direct-flash photography, intentionally capturing the motion blur, the spinning dresses, and the raw, uninhibited joy of a truly legendary celebration.

Special thanks to everyone who was involved and helped make this celibration a successful and lasting memory.
